Our Business J’aime les macarons is French for “I love macarons”, and that we truly do. We love their perfect form, chewy texture, colour palate, endless creative flavours, sense of tradition, and quality.
As passionate cooks, we only make beautiful, interesting food, with quality ingredients, that we would love to eat ourselves. That means fresh cream, eggs, butter, seasonal fruit, Belgium chocolate, and more. We love a modern design aesthetic, and adding an interesting and creative twist to everything we make. We are based in Christchurch, but have a lovely New Zealand wide customer base.We love the work that we do, and are eternally grateful that our customers do too!

Having studied law at Otago University, I worked as a commercial lawyer in NZ and London, and on travelling home to NZ, decided to combine my business knowledge with something that I love to do – bake. I wanted a product that put a little wow-factor back into baking, and a quality of service that exceeded expectations. And voila – J’aime les macarons!
